Winning this Saturday the Rally van Haspengouw 2014, first round of the Belgian Rally Championship, Freddy Loix has confirmed that he fears no one inside our borders.
A success forged from the early stages of Saturday morning when the Skoda Fabia S2000 surprised many observers by launching itself at the commands, taking advantage of the hesitation of each other to impose its law. If he was finally the author of quite a few scratches (5 of 13 stages), Fast Freddy has never conceded too many seconds, which allowed him to make a pretty alone which enables him to gather immediately a maximum of points.
Behind Freddy Loix, the fight was interesting, and Chris Van Woensel in particular take advantage of a small mistake of Kris Prinen to take the best, the two japanese finally being separated by 30"9 to arrival, Kris Princen having finished strenghth with two scratches, but still achieve surprise Chris Van Woensel to gain the 2nd place.
A long time pointed to the second row, the Dutch Hermen Kobus finally had to settle for 4th place finish at 6"9 of Kris Princen, proof that the fight for the runners was undecided until the end. Jonas Langenakens shot its maximum of his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII Gr.A, which nevertheless worth at best a top 5 this weekend.
