Spa Rally
17th to 18th March 2017
A proof of all madness! The abominable weather of Saturday that reigned over the region of Spa transformed the second proof of the Belgian Rally Championship 2017 in a real race for survive. Many drivers going lack, also in the last stage.

Worried to rectify the false start at the Rally van Haspengouw, Benoît Allart, this time also co-drived by Kevin Fernandez, avoid all the traps and finished this incredible joust at Spa in 1st position, after the relegation of Cédric Cherain for true tires.

If Cédric Cherain (Citroën DS3 RRC) multiply the scratches, Kris Princen resist, avoid to fall in the same trap as in Landern, where he... ensured to much. Saturday evening, he continued to attack, and without waiting, the driver of the BMA Skoda Fabia R5 go to the lack, making a barrel in the last stage... La Clémentine! Incredible but right...
The second place going to the Skoda Fabia R5 of a performant Vincent Verscueren, who did a round to much at Francorchamps! Other problems following before that a time correction let him to join the final podium.
Like we waiting, the Porsche's 997 GT3 ensured the show all along the day, proving their reliability. An excellent Fred Bouvy, co-drived by Jean-Louis Hottelet, take a superb 3rd place before Jochen Claerhout, while Marc Duez integrated also the top 10, at the 6th place.

Romain Delhez don't dream of a better weekend at the start of the Herock Spa Rally. In spite of a great plateau, the Opel driver did progress his little Adam all along of the two race days.
Since the 2nd stage of the proof, Romain Delhez increase his advantage on the other protagonists in Junior. In final, the Olnois relegate the competitors at more than 5 minutes.
