TAC Rally
12 to 13 April 2019
The 46th edition of the TAC Rally, 3rd round of the Jobfixers Belgian Rally Championship, has fully met expectations. This Saturday, all tenors of the Belgian Championship were at the start and during all day, they offered a high-flying show. But one driver dominated the debats, the defending Belgian Champion. Kris Princen (Volkswagen Polo GTi R5) lived a relatively calm day in the region of Tielt, managing perfectly the rally from the moment when Cédric Cherain (Volkswagen Polo GTi R5) left to the fault at SS3. Now remotely the Skoda Fabia R5's, the BMA driver won a second victory after Landen...

Back from Corsica, Sébastien Bedoret was impressive, winning fairly quickly in 2nd position, which allows him to record a high quality result. More contested was the fight for 3rd place, Adrian Fernémont being briefly overwhelmed by Vincent Verschueren, before the Namurois take the advantage with scratches. Struggling with a Skoda Fabia R5 too nervous to his taste, Verschueren failed at 4"1 on the podium.

The least we can say, is that the third round of the Pirelli Junior BRC was disputed! On the occasion of the 46th edition of the TAC Rally, the fastest drivers were clearly Gilles Pyck and Grégoire Munster, but it's to Joachim Wagemans that the victory came back at the end of an error-free race.
